PYLLON EXPERIENCE 5
TICKETS ON SALE FROM SATURDAY 26TH FEBRUARY
When we get together, amazing things happen.
This time we’ll return to the destination of our very first event - Aviemore (Scotland) on 25th March 2022. This is your chance to join the team for a weekend of running and adventure. We’d really love to spend this time with you and for you to be part of another very special event.
The Plan
The weekend will be a mix of running, learning, talking, laughing, some hurting (in a good way) and socialising with like-minded individuals. This is not an event aimed just at the elite level runner, it is for all - those relatively new to trail running, those looking for inspiration to take into the spring racing season or for those who just love being on the trails and in the mountains.
We will be recreating and enhancing the very special weekends we’ve had over the last few years at Aviemore in 2018, Grasmere 2019, Elterwater in 2020 and Tyndrum in 2021. Runners, spending time with runners - living and breathing what we love!
In case you don’t know anything about our events, Pyllon Experience is a residential event taking place Friday through to Sunday. We organise your accommodation and catering, and provide you with a fully packed timetable of activities and learning.
If you’ve been to one of our events before, then you know we’ll do our very best to make it as fun, informative and inclusive as possible. We’ll have lots of trails to choose from in and around Glenmore Forest - with some poor weather options if we can’t be too adventurous. You’ll get to meet some new people for sure. The infamous XP VK team Hill Reps challenge will return of course!!
We have limited places and they sold out in one hour when we launched our 2021 event.
This is a residential event and we’ll be staying at the Badaguish outdoor centre in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The centre is situated in Glenmore Forest, it is a quiet and idyllic space from which we will base our adventures. You can find out more details by visiting their website.
We are offering two accommodation options:
A bed in a shared room in a forest lodge - £285
A camping pod/wigwam* sharing with one other person - £265 (you’ll need to bring a sleeping bag)
The price includes two nights accommodation and all meals over the weekend (dinner Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday). All catering will be provide by The Speyside Kitchen, we have tried and tested their food and you are definitely in for a treat! We also have access to the onsite bothy so there will be marshmallows round the campfire!
We’ll adhere to any COVID guidelines and we need everyone to understand that if legislation or guidance is announced after you book your place we will have no choice but to modify the event format.
We give you our promise that we will do our very best to ensure that you have a weekend filled with fun and adventure. I'm sure we are all craving a little piece of that right now.

BORING BIT: RULES, REGULATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS
We have only a few rules but they are sacrosanct:
1. We want this to be a great experience for everyone, so we’ll expect that you’ll be friendly and supportive to all who attend.
2. No show-boating. As mentioned already, this is about having a great group experience so leave any egos at home.
3. There are limited places available, once full payment is made we will not be able to issue refunds as we will have made financial commitments to the accommodation provider, catering company and order supplies etc.
4. Talk to us. If you are worried about something before you get there, then tell us - no matter how small, we want you to have a great time. If something isn’t right when you arrive, again - tell us! We’re here to help.
5. This will grow - so pay attention!
We will publish a detailed plan / schedule for the weekend before you arrive. We will do our very best to put on a great event - one that is safe and adheres to local and national Covid rules.
