We absolutely love the West Highland Way race, and 2024 was EPIC!
A number of the coaching team were out supporting and crewing over the weekend of 22nd June. It was inspiring to see so many people giving all they had to get to the finish in Fort William, and pick up that fabled goblet.
It didn’t go to plan for everyone of course - it’s a risk we all take when tackling these epic events.
As our way of giving back to the community, we have created an exclusive (and FREE) 6-week recovery and rebuild plan for the 2024 WHW runners. It can be hard knowing what training to do after a big event and this plan provides some guidance on the types of runs and sessions you should consider to get your body and mind back into training shape.
This has been created on Training Peaks - an app that the Pyllon Coaching team use to deliver plans to athletes. You will need a Training Peaks account to use it - YOU DO NOT NEED A PAID ACCOUNT, the free option is fine.
